It's Fourth of July week! Are you guys doing anything fun?
It's that time of year again where we are all grilling outside and hanging out on the patio. These Jalapeno poppers are the perfect addition to your bbq party! Every time I make these they are the first thing to go.
I'm excited for this week because I'm going to be sharing 3 of my favorite Keto-Friendly BBQ recipes, that everyone will love. I wanted to share some quick recipes that everyone at the party can enjoy, not just my keto friends because lets be honest, sometimes you have to accommodate other people too and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to create some side dishes!
You can actually grill these or pop them in the oven. This grill tray does the trick! There are tons of recipes for these and they are basically very similar. What I like to do though is add two types of cheese and some fresh cilantro.
I prep mine on a lined baking sheet that way I can either pop them into the oven or use it as a tray for the grill. It makes the prepping so much easier this way.
You can also season these with any sort of chipotle , smokey or bbq seasoning, however I love to use Magic Dust. I would recommend using something smokey and spicy for the best flavor.
If you have not tried these you definitely have to. They are super quick and easy to make, and always such a hit at the party! They go great with hot dogs, hamburgers and steaks on the grill! Such a great addition to the party.
Friendly tip- Make sure to leave the cream cheese out on the counter so it is room temp and easier to mix.
You can also keep the stems on if you'd like however I cut mine off.
What you will need:
7 large Jalapenos
6 oz Cream Cheese (room temperature)
1/3 cup pepper jack
1/3 cup cheddar cheese
2 tsp Magic dust ( or bbq seasoning)
1/2 tsp cilantro
