Keto Cauliflower Potato Salad

Happy 4th of July! I know technically it is tomorrow, but i'm posting today so this will have to due. I hope you guys have some fun plans for this weekend! I'm actually going to be enjoying the few days off by catching up on some personal things, and getting ahead on some recipes.

This week I am sharing 3 simple recipes that you can enjoy while staying Keto for July 4th. If you're following along, I shared a simple recipe for Jalapeno Poppers on Monday. Every time I make these they are always a hit at the party for everyone because lets be honest, who doesn't like cream cheese!?

Holidays can definitely be hard for people to stick with their diets, especially ones who follow a keto diet because options can be limited. 4th of July should be the easiest though because that grill is going all day, which is perfect for those macros! Celebrating this holiday with red white and blue, why not stick to that diet and celebrate with blueberries, raspberries, and yogurt.

How to enjoy the 4th of July on Keto

Well that is easy! Just stand by the grill the entire night and take everything that comes off! Okay, that is joke, but seriously, it does take a bit of practice and self-control. Enjoy the fresh fruit, vegetables, and all the meat your little heart desires. Sure there will be desserts floating around, but this is why you stick with this diet right? To avoid all the bed sugars, high carbs, and to feel amazing! If you know you need a dessert, bring your own and enjoy it without the regret. You got this!

If you want to enjoy a cocktail, that is okay! Instead of adding soda, add some herbs like mint or rosemary and muddle some fresh fruit. You can also add some keto friendly sweeter or even sparkling water! Stay away from the beer! However, michelob ultra is a great choice with low carbs.

This one, you all will love! I was never a huge potato salad person so it was not anything I ever missed, but this honestly turned out better than I could have expected. The recipe is simple, quick, healthy, and you can enjoy this dish without the regret!

Mayonnaise - The brand I use is from Primal Kitchen. You can find them online here or I buy them from Whole Foods. I love this brand, they have awesome products! They also have some flavored mayo as well.

Mustard- I'm pretty sure I was using regular mustard for a while before I thought to myself I should check the back, and now all I use is Primal Kitchen's brand.

Relish- I honestly chop my own pickles up and add them to the dish. You can also make your own! Here is one of my favorite keto low-carb relish recipes you can try out for this dish!
