I'm excited to talk about these fat bombs! So, what I really like about these is the fact that they're actually really clean and good for you.
When I first started keto, I bought tons of book to read and adsorbed as much information as possible that I could. I listed to tons of podcasts. The books were great, they were simple, explained the basics and did not overwhelm me with all these fancy recipes.
Here are a few books I actually purchased and currently own, that were so helpful when I started. Mind you, I STILL use these cookbooks for the information and recipes today. They were truly informative and helpful. It also showed me, that everyone has their own way of doing Keto, which I love and appreciate.
1) The Keto Reset Diet- This was my first purchase. I love this because it gives you SO much information and detail on the basics of the diet, plus a week by week guide on meals.
2) The Keto Paleo Kitchen- This is one of my favorite go-to recipe books when entertaining. She has such a great spin on meals, and it is similar to the way I choose to Keto. It is very back to the basics hence the founder ' The Nourished Caveman'.
3) The Wicked Good Ketogenic Cookbook- I love this book because there is an array of recipes that are budget friendly. Each one is ranked by price point, which I think we can all agree is amazing.
4) The Big 15 Ketogenic Diet Cookbook- This one is simple, it breaks things down in each chapter by food groups and provides the recipes. For example Eggs, Bacon, Avocado, etc. What more could you want?
Each book has their own take on how they view the keto diet which I can appreciate. For me, I choose no heavy cream, or butter, or cream cheese, I try to stick with simple and clean. Of course, all those things taste great in desserts and I do admit to use them from time-to-time, but we all know those things aren't great for us and should be consumed in small quantities.
So to get back to my point being, I truly love this recipe because it is a dessert, but it is also good for you and your macros.
I actually made these fat bombs with 3 layers, however you can actually mix the raspberry tops into the coconut mixture, you can layer it on top, or you can use it for a center like the picture and make a 3 layer fat bomb.
